In the fourth quarter of 2024, the UK music and audio app market displayed interesting trends among the top five apps on a unified platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key performance metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active user numbers.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $396K in early December. Downloads were relatively stable but surged to 120K in the week of December 23. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 13.9M.

Global Player Radio & Podcasts experienced a decline in downloads from 91K at the start of the quarter to 36K by the end. However, active users grew steadily, reaching over 727K in late December.
